Prototypes
Our silicone-based models have underwent several iterations since our first prototype. We are currently refing our design and fabrication process, using silicone molds to best emulate the torso and breast tissue. Our most recent prototype is now in use in CPR classes at MIT and Harvard.
Version 1
-
First successful, completed manikin adaptor
-
Softer silicone sandwiched between two layers of stiff, durable silicone
-
Volume-based measurements
Version 2
-
Increased pigment concentration to more accurately represent skin tone
-
Mass-based measurements
Version 3
-
Used ultra-soft silicone gel to more accurately simulate breast tissue
-
Selective coloration of areola to more accurately simulate female torso appearance
-
Mass-based measurements
